Solocal Group UK Local Ideas blog scoops two finalist spots at UK’s most prestigious digital awards

European leader in multichannel marketing solutions, Solocal Group UK, has scooped two finalist spots at 2015’s most prestigious digital awards.

The company’s ‘Local Ideas’ blog has been named one of ten company finalists in the Lifestyle and Most Innovative categories for the UK Blog Awards.

A record-breaking 42,000 public voted were cast to shortlist the 2,000 entrants of 2015’s awards.

The UK Blog Awards – taking place at the Montcalm, Marble Arch on Friday 17th April – celebrate company and individual talent across 12 industry categories including health, travel and automotive and 2 sub-categories commending young and innovative bloggers.

Launched in July 2014 by Solocal Group UK, Local Ideas brings together the business community by providing a platform for creative initiatives and inspiration in retain and service business.

With multiple contributions published weekly across 26 business sectors, the blog enables professionals to share success stories and creative ideas surrounding a wide variety of innovations, impacting positively on customer experience.

These innovations include the use of new technologies, fresh marketing initiatives, disruptive retail concepts, inventive in-store services and innovative advertising campaigns.

Local Ideas will now face an expert panel of judges, including Alina Isaev, Digital Marketing Specialist at Debenhams and Kate Watson-Smyth, journalist at Mad About the House, to determine whether it will scoop the overall titles of Lifestyle Company and Most Innovative Company Blog Winner.

Solocal Group UK launches Local Ideas blog and creative business initiative sharing platform
